    33 Beaches In North Wales Achieve The EU's Highest Water Standard

    A list of the cleanest beaches in North Wales has been revealed, showing that North Wales has some of the cleanest beaches in Europe! Open water spots can be found in Anglesey, Conwy, Gwynedd and Denbighshire, none of which received a ‘poor’ rating. Out of the 44 sites in North Wales, 33 of them were rated ‘Excellent’, an increase from 78% to 83% over the past year.

    Snowdon Mountain Railway Launces Interactive Smartphone App

    Snowdon Mountain Railway this week launches its own mobile phone app, enhancing the experience of its traditional steam and diesel train journeys through the latest interactive digital technology.

    With the exception of two World Wars, Snowdon Mountain Railway has run uninterrupted since 1896. It has even been used to help mountain rescue teams working on Snowdon, Wales’ highest peak.

    Offering both a heritage steam experience and traditional diesel service, visitors can experience and enjoy the spectacular Welsh mountain scenery just as the Victorians did back in 1896.

    Penrhyn Choir set to perform at ZipRoc 2019

    Penrhyn Choir is set to perform on the site where it all began, over 130 years after the choir was founded.
    The choir will take to the stage at ZipRoc 2019 on June 15th, which takes place at Penrhyn Quarry, Bethesda. The choir joins the likes of, Cast, Miles Hunt of The Wonder Stuff, Mike Peters, frontman for The Alarm, Elin Fflur and Bryn Fon in a jam-packed line-up with something for the whole family.
