About
A welcome break for weary walkers or simply a great place to stop, admire the views and sample one of our legendary toasted teacakes, the Rest and Be Thankful Cafe has been in existence for over 100 years, although the original building is no longer here. Situated half way round the Marine Drive, we're a small eating place which offers the finest and most stunning views in North Wales. Perched more than four hundred feet above sea level on the limestone cliffs, this delightful respite from an arduous five mile walk around the Marine Drive welcomes visitors with its own unusual charm. As well as serving the exhausted rambler with rolls, cakes, drinks, ice creams and many other delightful treats, the Cafe also acts as an information centre for the Orme and maintains a large range of photograph albums in addition to specialist publications on the Caves of the Orme, Myths and magic and many other areas of interest, all written by local folk.
