The Branchline Gala showcases the railway in full operational mode. Trains are running often, motive power changes throughout the day and there is always something happening somewhere along the line.
You can spend the day riding end to end, hopping on and off at different stations, or simply finding a favourite spot to watch the action unfold. It is a brilliant way to experience the railway beyond the usual service pattern.
