We are delighted to announce that our hugely popular Classic Transport Weekend will return to the Llangollen and Corwen Railway on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 July 2026.
Glyndyfrdwy Station will once again be the main hub for the weekend, where you can travel back in time and see a wide variety of classic transport, including motorcycles, cars, trucks, tractors, buses and trains. Throughout the weekend we will be running an intensive timetable of steam, diesel and heritage railcar services, giving visitors plenty of opportunities to travel along the line.
Free Parking at Glyndyfrdwy is limited, but visitors can start their journey at any of our stations and travel to the event by train.
A free vintage bus service for ticket holders will operate between Glyndyfrdwy and Corwen, running regularly throughout both days, making it easy to explore more of the Dee Valley and enjoy the displays at different locations.
Day Rover and Two Day Rover tickets allow unlimited travel on all services during the event.
