About
With support from Georgia Ruth.
Bill Ryder-Jones is a singular voice in British music—an acclaimed songwriter, composer, and producer whose deeply personal sound has earned him critical praise and a devoted following.
Hailing from the Wirral, between North Wales and Liverpool, Ryder-Jones began his career as guitarist for psychedelic pop outfit The Coral before stepping out on his own. Since then, he's released a string of beautifully crafted solo albums, from the orchestral debut If… to the tender, introspective A Bad Wind Blows in My Heart and the dreamy, lo-fi indie rock of Yawn.
His latest release, Iechyd Da (2024), marks a major creative leap—expanding his sonic world with lush string arrangements, gospel choirs, and reimagined disco textures. It's a record of quiet triumphs and unflinching honesty, described by Uncut as "a record that beckons you over and invites you in… a sonic exchange of love" (9/10).
In recent years, Ryder-Jones has also become a sought-after producer for artists including Yard Act, Michael Head, and Saint Saviour, while joining Arctic Monkeys as a touring guitarist. His live performances—whether stripped-back or fully orchestrated—are known for their emotional depth, warmth, and subtle power.
Following sold-out shows at the Barbican, Liverpool Philharmonic, and Southbank Centre, Ryder-Jones brings his latest work to the intimate surrounds of St. Collen's Church for a rare and very special performance.
This is a night of raw beauty, richly crafted songs, and a rare connection between artist and audience.

Georgia Ruth is a musician from Aberystwyth in West Wales. Using folk influences to create a truly unique sound, her debut album Week of Pines won the Welsh Music Prize in 2013 and was nominated for two BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. Georgia collaborated with Manic Street Preachers on their Futurology album (reaching #2 in the Official UK Album Charts.)
Georgia's fourth studio album, Cool Head, was released in June 2024. Taken its name from a phrase her dad would always use to urge calm thinking, the album presents a candid and affecting collection of songs, spanning wide-open Americana to 60s-influenced folk ballads. Georgia describes it as a long drive through night into morning. It is co-produced with long-time collaborator Iwan Morgan.
