The beautiful seaside town of Beaumaris is one of the islands most popular. Pastel colour houses align the shore, and a charismatic coastline greets your arrival to the town. The beach is easily accessible, with plenty of car parking and facilities including shops, public houses and cafes.
The pier, which separates the beach provides boat trips to popular fishing patches and tours of the nearby Puffin Island. If a day at sea isn’t for you, the Welsh Coast Path passes the beach, and provides excellent views of mainland Wales and the Menai Strait.
Dog restrictions apply between May and September.
