King Arthur’s Labyrinth is an underground storytelling adventure at Corris Craft Centre in southern Snowdonia, North Wales. You sail by boat through the magical veil of an underground waterfall, then follow your hooded Dark Age Boatman through vast caverns and winding tunnels where ancient Welsh legends come to life.

Deep underground you will hear some of the earliest Welsh stories of dragons, giants and fierce battles. Tales include the red and white dragons fighting beneath a king’s castle, the sunken lost land near Borth where church bells are said to ring beneath the waves, and the Battle of Camlan, King Arthur’s final battle with his evil nephew Mordred. Dramatic scenes, light and sound effects bring each legend to life in the cool, atmospheric tunnels, making this a memorable all-weather attraction for families and visitors of all ages.

At the end of your underground voyage you brave Dragon River, an exciting finale where your adventures may disturb the Guardians of the Labyrinth. Back above ground, the story continues in the Welsh Legends Maze, a leafy outdoor maze filled with more myths, characters and puzzles. Pick up clues around the maze to solve a quiz, while younger children can follow the Dragon Quest trail to find different coloured dragons and crack a simple riddle.

King Arthur’s Labyrinth and the Welsh Legends Maze both start from the Corris Craft Centre, home to a collection of independent craft workshops run by resident designer‑makers. You can watch skilled craftspeople at work creating items such as contemporary and Celtic jewellery, ceramics and smoking dragons, hand carved candles, herbal lotions and remedies, glass sculptures, natural forest furniture, pet portraits and treats, multi award-winning Dyfi Distillery Gin, and brand new for 2026 crafty gaming. Many workshops offering hands‑on activities like pottery painting, candle dipping, herbal crafting, furniture building experiences and more.

The on‑site Corris Café serves an all day menu of freshly prepared food and drinks featuring Welsh ingredients, local recipes and options for vegan, vegetarian and gluten‑free diets. There is proper coffee served by trained baristas, home‑baked bread and a warm welcome for families and dogs. With free parking, free WiFi and plenty to do indoors and out, King Arthur’s Labyrinth and the Corris Craft Centre make it easy to spend a full day exploring this part of North Wales.
