Map & Directions

Road Directions

From the A5, take the B4406 to Penmachno. Once in Penmachno, come over the bridge in the centre of the village. After passing the church on your right, and the village green on your left, the road turns sharply to the left in front of the Eagles Hotel/Pub - turn right off the main road here at the corner of the pub, keeping left past a row of terraced houses. Continue along this single track road out of the village, passing Penmachno Hall on your right, continuing up the hill and out of the village.
At the Y junction signposted right to Ty Mawr (National Trust), carry straight on the left hand road (marked with a dead end sign) up Glasgwm valley.
Continue for approximately half a mile, passing the property Plas Newydd on your left. Immediately after Plas Newydd, take the left hand turn down a track to Plasglasgwm. You will see a grey signpost to Plasglasgwm on the left hand side of this track.
Come down to the bottom, where you will find the collection of buildings that make up Plasglasgwm - the lodge is the first of these, accessed via the right-hand wooden gates. There is room for one car to be parked outside the gates, up to the end wall of the lodge, otherwise, please come through the double wooden gates in to the courtyard, where there is additional parking.
