Deeside Ice Arena – North Wales’ only Olympic-sized ice rink

Step into the home of skating in North Wales at Deeside Ice Arena, the region’s only Olympic-sized ice rink. Fully refurbished in 2022, the arena offers public skating, family sessions, ice discos and learn-to-skate lessons for all ages and abilities.

With skate hire, skating aids, and a rink-side snack bar, it’s the perfect destination for family days out, whatever the weather. Sports fans can also cheer on the Deeside Dragons, our brilliant resident ice hockey team. 

Located within Deeside Leisure Centre in Queensferry, Flintshire, the arena is part of a huge indoor activity hub all under one roof. Families can bounce, slide, and climb in the Inflatable Park, or switch wheels for tricks at the Indoor Skate Park, popular with skateboarders, scooter riders, and BMX fans.
