Escape to the heart of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park and enjoy a relaxing stay at Woodlands Estate House/Plas Coedfa our lovingly restored Victorian home and cottage in beautiful Betws Y Coed, North Wales.
Owned and cared for by us, Glenn and Beth, since 2000, Coedfa is a very special place to us. Set within around an acre of gardens, landscaped by the Victorians and tiered with a mix of lawn, woodland, patio, rockery etc in an elevate south and south-westerly position, the property enjoys wonderful views acrss the Lledr Valley, its meandering river and the historic and famous Thomas Telford Waterloo Bridge.
Despite its peaceful setting, Woodlands Estate House/Plas Coedfa is just a 10 minute walk from the centre of the bustling village of Betws Y Coed, where you'll find independent shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and takeaways. The train station and Sherpa bus services are also close by, making this an excellent base for exploring the mountains and attractions of Eryri. Beautiful woodlands, riverside, lake and mountain walks are all within easy reach.
Stay Together or Seperately.
The House can accommodate up to 12 guests in total and 3 dogs maximum, making it ideal for larger families and groups. Alternatively, the accommodation can be booked as two completely seperate, private propeties each with its own outdoor priivate space.

Once the servants quarters to the main estate house, this cosy and quirky cottage has been lovingly restored to create a warm and homely retreat. It offers

One small twin bedroom with original workers iron beds
Upstairs shower room
Downstairs bathroom with copper stand alone bath in the old laundry room
Pleasant lounge with plenty of light and spectacular views through french doors and large original window facing the lawned garden (private use for guests at cottage only)
Quiry kitchen with dishwasher, electric and gas oven, undercounter fridge, undercounter freezer, microwave, juicer, traditional belfast sink with copper taps.
Utility room with storage, local slate sink and draining board and copper taps.
The ground floor has its original slate floors and the upstairs all original wooden floors.
