Road Directions

We are situated on the north west coast of Wales, just above the Llŷn Peninsula and south of Caernarfon. 

When driving from the M56 East, follow the A55 to North Wales and leave at the sign for Caernarfon. Drive through Caernarfon and follow the A487 towards Porthmadog. 

After 3 miles you will approach a roundabout where you turn right onto the A499 towards Pwllheli. 

After a further 7 miles you will come to the village of Clynnog Fawr. Slow down as you see the church on your left and after a further 100 yards you will see a red wooden sign ‘Bachwen Holiday Cottages’ on the right hand side in front of a stone wall - be aware that this is a 60mph road. 

Turn right into the splayed stone entrance and follow the narrow lane down towards the sea. Keep driving until you see the small green oval Bach Wen sign and slate reception sign - Croeso!
