Introduction to Safe Sea Swimming

A chance to experience the delights of cold water immersion and dynamic breathwork before your sauna session. You will be introduced to the benefits of both breathwork and cold water immersion then guided into the sea by Mary Freeman who is an experienced open water swimmer, life guard and coach. Mary is also a yoga teacher and Breathwork instructor. Her knowledge and experience will help you to get the most out of the session and you will feel supported every step of the way. This workshop is as much about cold water immersion and breathwork as it is an opportunity for Mary to educate you on what to look out at the beach, to make your entry and exit of the sea as safe as possible.
Once you've been in the water the group and Mary can then enjoy a sauna together. This creates an opportunity to ask questions you may have for Mary. This workshop is suitable for everyone, but does require a moderate level of health and fitness. This workshop is suitable for those who can swim 25 metres in an indoor swimming pool. Please advise us of any injuries or conditions that may affect your ability to participate before you arrive by emailing contact@saunawales.co.uk or filling out the registration form. Please bring with you a mat and a blanket for the breathwork which will be outside on the sand.
