Bodnant Garden (ITA)

Il Bodnant Garden è un maestoso giardino botanico fondato nel 1874 che copre 80 acri di collina vicino a Tal-y-Cafn e offre, grazie alla sua enorme collezione di piante da tutto il mondo, un’esperienza rilassante e indimenticabile indipendentemente dalla stagione. Ecco alcuni tra gli innumerevoli punti salienti di questo gioiello della botanica nel periodo estivo.

Bodnant Garden (ENG)

Bodnant Garden is a majestic botanical garden founded in 1874 which covers 80 acres of hillside near Tal-y-Cafn and offers, thanks to its enormous collection of plants from all over the world, an unforgettable and relaxing experience regardless of the current season. Here are some of the countless interest points of this botanical jewel during summertime.

Terrazza delle Rose Superiore (ITA)

Questa raccolta di fiori situata sulla terrazza superiore vicino all’entrata, a nord del giardino,  è una gioia per gli occhi e non solo, in quanto i colori di ogni varietà di rosa sono accompagnati dal caratteristico e delicato profumo di questo fiore. La terrazza, nonostante il suo nome, ospita anche altri affascinanti tipi di fiore, e le scale in discesa conducono alla terrazza sottostante.

Upper Rose Terrace (ENG)

This collection of flowers located on the upper terrace near the entrance, in the northern side of the garden, is a joy for the eyes and more, given that the colours of each variety of rose are accompanied by the delicate and characteristic smell of this flower. The terrace, despite its name, also hosts other fascinating types of flower, and the stairs lead to the terrace beneath.

Furnace Hill (ITA)

Questa collina è composta da Furnace Meadow, un prato sul lato della collina che regala un senso di estrema calma se attraversata lentamente, e da Furnace Forest, una foresta di alberi Americani, Asiatici e nativi attraversata da numerosi sentieri, e decorata da numerose specie floreali, ideale per una camminata nel silenzio della natura.

Furnace Hill (ENG)

This hill is made up of Furnace Meadow, an opening on the side of the hill that is extremely soothing if slowly walked through, and of Furnace Forest, a forest of American, Asian and native trees crossed by numerous paths and embellished by numerous floral species, ideal for a walk in the silence of nature.

Ponte della Cascata (ITA)

Questo punto del fiume che attraversa il giardino offre delle viste mozzafiato, sia che si cammini sopra il ponte, o che lo si ammiri dalla folta vegetazione sottostante, circondata da alberi enormi, che ricorda quella di una giungla.

Waterfall Bridge (ENG)

This point of the river that crosses the garden offers some breath-taking views, both if you walk on the bridge or admire it from the thick vegetation below, encircled by enormous trees, which feels like a jungle.

Skating Pond (ITA)

Questo stagno situato all’estremo sud del giardino è circondato da dei meravigliosi Salici Piangenti che, insieme all’isoletta in mezzo all’acqua, creano un’oasi silenziosa, da ammirare e attraversare con calma.

Skating Pond (ENG)

This pond located at the southernmost end of the garden is surrounded by some marvellous Weeping Willows that, together with the small island in the middle of the water, create a silent oasis, to traverse and admire slowly.

Radura degli Aceri (ITA)

Questa radura vicina al centro del giardino risalta grazie ai colori caldi degli aceri, che spiccano in modo fantastico rispetto al verde circostante.

Acer Glade (ENG)

This glade near the centre of the garden stands out thanks to the warm colours of the acers, which stick out in a fantastic way when compared to the greenery around them.
