Minerva is an attractive property set over 2 floors situated in Trearddur Bay on the Isle of Anglessey. The house is built on a raised rock cliff at the end of a country lane providing scenic views of the surrounding countryside and the sea that can be enjoyed from all living areas. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, one being ensuite. The property has a very large and modern kitchen/diner with brand new cupboards, breakfast island and appliances. It also has a 6 seater kitchen table, traditional double black range cooker with access to a utility room and further dining area all boasting breathtaking countryside and sea views. The 30ft lounge has a wall-mounted 55 inch Samsung LED TV with full Sky package including Sky Movies, Sky Sports and kids channels all in HD as well as Amazon Prime TV, Netflix , full WIFI around the house and a Harmon Kardon blue tooth sound system. It also has a large fold out double chesterfield sofa bed and a wood burner with a double doorway in to a spacious sun room/games room. Minerva sleeps 10-13 people comfortably in 4 bedrooms. There are 2 double rooms (one with en-suite), a quad bunk room (that sleeps 4 and is suitable for adults) and a further bunkroom that sleeps 2. There is an option to sleep a further 3 people on a high quality pull out double sofa bed, situated in the lounge, and a transportable adult camp bed. Travel cot and high chair also available. Bed linen (including cot bedding) and bath towels included but please bring your own beach towels. Amenties: Gas central heating, wood burner, 2 flat screen TV’s with full Sky package, Amazon games controller, and WIFI. In the kitchen, there is a large gas 5 burner range stove with hot plate and 3 ovens, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, washing machine, tumble dryer, integrated fridge freezer, sandwich toastie maker and a 4-in-1 food processor and blender. In the main bedroom, there is a hairdryer and curling tongues. Tea bags, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits provided on arrival. All cleaning equipment, toilet rolls and kitchen roll also available for the guests' use. Outside: Front consisting of a large, sheltered patio area with plenty of seating overlooking an enclosed cottage garden. To the back there is a sweeping outdoor balcony terrace with seating, BBQ and chiminea with stunning, far-reaching views of the countryside and out towards the sea. Equipment storage available behind and down the side of the house and in the utility room. Off road parking for 3 cars and a safe area for additional parking to the front of house. Minerva is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with no through traffic and with direct access to a public footpath that leads towards the beach and coastal path. Location Minerva is the perfect base for families with lots to do within easy reach and is ideal for exploring Anglessey. Beach, pubs and local shops 7-8 mins walk away accessed via a beautiful public footpath across farmland with spectacular sea views and by-passing a small, ruined fortress. The fabulous Holyhead golf course is 0.5 miles away and the green can be seen from the rear terrace area. Children and pets We welcome children and provide books, games, toys, books, kites and buckets and spades. There is a travel cot and bedding, high chair, plastic plates, cups and cutlery. We have two children of our own and so have made the house as child friendly as possible. Well behaved dog are allowed but prohibited from jumping on furniture and beds. We also ask you kindly to please clean up after your pet. No smoking please. History The original owner dived in search off ship-wrecks around the seas off Anglessey. The money he made from the copper he extracted from the wrecks back in the mid 70’s funded the purchase of the land and the building of Minerva in 1975. ‘Minerva’ means the Roman goddess of wisdom and war.
