A short walk from the nearby car park over a bridge and through glorious countryside you will arrive at Aberffraw Beach, one of Anglesey’s best kept secrets. The long, sandy beach is rarely busy, which makes it a great escape from other beaches on the island.
Aberffraw beach is perhaps best known for its low sand dunes, which attract an abundance of wildlife. The dunes have been designated as a Site of Special Scientific and a Special Area of Conservation.
The beach is dog friendly.
