  • All Areas Accessible to Disabled Visitors - The Corris Craft Centre studios, cafe and Bwtri y Crochan are accessible to wheelchair users and also for people with mobility problems. The Lost Legends of The Stone Circle attraction is an outdoor maze with access along gravel paths which is also wheelchair accessible. However, King Arthur's Labyrinth and Corris Mine Explorers are both underground attractions and as such are not wheelchair accessible.

Audio Commentary in Foreign Languages

  • Welsh audio guide - The King Arthur's Labyrinth underground adventure can be enjoyed through the medium of Welsh subject to availability. The mythical stories told in Lost Legends of The Stone Circle can be enjoyed in Welsh with a Welsh quiz to accompany the stories. Many of the staff speak Welsh.

  • Approx length of visit - To browse all of the craft studios, to enjoy some hands-on and fun activities and to eat in the Y Crochan cafe we would suggest a 2-3 hour visit. You should allow a whole day to also enjoy the range of attractions and activities which start from the Corris Craft Centre.

  • Dogs Accepted - Dogs are welcome at the Corris Craft Centre except for in the Chocablock studio where chocolate is made. Dogs are welcome in the Corris Cafe and Welsh Deli. Unfortunately it's not possible for dogs to go underground into King Arthur's Labyrinth or Corris Mine Explorers but they are welcome to explore outdoor discovery trail The Welsh Legends Maze.

Find us on the main A487 road between Dolgellau and Machynlleth, just north of Corris. We're on the Wales Way and the Snowdonia 360 routes.  What3Words ///entry.theme.golden

Public Transport Directions

There are regular buses from Aberystwyth, Dolgellau and Machynlleth: T2 stop right outside and 34 stops in the village of Corris (a 10 minute walk away). Sustrans Cycle Route 8 passes nearby. There are direct trains from Birmingham to Machynlleth. Visit the Traveline Cymru website for more details.
