History of Festival No. 6
One of North Wales’ newest festivals, Festival No.6 launched in 2012. Seeking a type of new festival – the organisers wanted to create a festival which was much more bespoke and unique. Portmeirion provided the perfect setting for the festival. A village as inspirational and special as the event itself.
On playing at the festival, superstar Beck commented “This is the coolest, most surrealist, funkiest, freakiest, best festival in the world”.
From just over 6,000 visitors in the first year, Festival No.6 now welcomes 15,000 festival goers from around the world. Previous performers include Catfish and the Bottlemen, Mark Ronson and London Grammer. Along with comics including Steve Coogan.
