About
An enchanted Christmas awaits at Chirk Castle this festive season. Wonder at the elaborate display of decorated trees and twinkling fairy lights and enjoy an immersive journey through the East Wing, where some ground floor rooms will be opened especially for Christmas.
Step in from the cold and soak up the atmosphere as you experience the collection brought to life with handmade butterflies, dragons, birds in flight and monkeys causing havoc throughout the house in a festive display inspired by the early 17th century painting 'Orpheus Charming the Animals'.
Enjoy supper with Father Christmas on December 15 in the tearoom - booking is essential.
There is also a reverse grotto in aid of Oswestry and Borders Foodbank. Pop in any time during normal opening hours in December to drop off your food items at the Rangers Hub near the ticket office.
On weekends only from 2 to 17 December, Father Christmas himself will be visiting to say thank you for your donation.
