Take part in a night of scary ghost hunting at the imposing Bron Y Garth Hospital which can be found in Penrhyndeudraeth, Gwynedd, Wales. Bron Y Garth Hospital and its outbuildings have lain abandoned for many years, left to rot and decay over the passage of time, this really is one eerie location not to be missed!

History

Grade ll Listed and built in 1838, this historical location was once a former Victorian workhouse, known as the Ffestiniog Union, the workhouse was used to house the poor and destitute of North Wales. As you can imagine, life was incredibly hard for these inmates, where the unruliest would have been punished.

In 1948 the property then became Brony Y Garth Hospital, the hospital closed its doors for the last time in 2009, since then the site has lain dormant and is thought to be reputedly haunted, some say the ghosts of the past have never left and remain here.

This is a large atmospheric site full to the brim of history, here you can find creepy, empty wards and corridors, along with the mortuary with its own viewing window still intact!

There has been much paranormal activity reported here such as poltergeist type activity, with items of furniture moving of their own accord, the slamming of doors and spirit voice phenomena heard in the many different buildings on the site.

Join us as we go in search of the ghostly energies, that are thought to haunt this truly, scary abandoned hospital.

You will have full use of ghost hunting equipment and you can take part in various experiments such as table tipping and glass divination and watch and wait vigils throughout the night in the most active parts of the location.
