Ultimate High has developed a range of scrambling experiences both in our home mountains of Snowdonia as well as Scotland and the Alpine regions. The days are designed to allow our clients to fully experience the mountains & natural environment of Snowdonia and help them achieve their ‘ultimate high’.

We also offer alpine guiding and instruction in winter mountaineering, both arranged to suit the specific client demands.

Penmachno is off the A5 (London to Holyhead Road), near Betws-y-Coed. From the north, take the M56, A55, A470, A5 and then B4406 into the village.

From the south, take the A5 to Llangollen, follow signs to Betws-y-Coed and take the B4406 into Penmachno.
