Abersoch

Abersoch is a mecca for watersports enthusiasts, the flat water in Abersoch Bay is ideal for wakeboarding and waterskiing, sailing, powerboating and windsurfing. The main beach area is Easterly facing and is protected from the prevailing winds making it ideal for bathers and watersports lovers alike.

Surfers and bodyboarders are catered for at Porth Neigwl (Hell's Mouth), Porth Ceiriad and Porth Oer, beaches that are exposed to regular Atlantic swells.

The village itself has a good selection of accommodation, trendy bars, restaurants and shops and hosts many events throughout the year including the Abersoch Jazz Festival and Wakestock, Europe's largest wakeboarding and music festival held in July.
