Self-assessed Accessibility Information provides a list of available facilities and services, highlighted as being of key importance by disabled people.  Along with Access Statements, which provide a fuller written description of accessibility, it can help people with access needs make an informed choice as to whether accommodation, attractions, food & drink or shopping establishments meet their needs.

  • ACCESS STATEMENT l Edge of village location with taxi set-down area outside house. Two rail stations within 1/2 mile. Main bus route 400yds. l Two guest parking areas adjacent to building, one with six shallow steps leading to wide front porch and one with ramp access to front porch. Well lit entrance porch. l One shallow step at front door sill. All other ground floor is level throughout. l Reception in lounge with seating where incoming guests can discuss any personal requirements. l High standards of general and feature display lighting throughout the building and exterior gardens and patio areas. Safety lighting in corridors during the hours of darkness. l All bedrooms are on the first floor reached by a staircase of 13 steps. Toilets and shower are en-suite. There is no lift. All bedrooms have easy access refreshment trays, bedside lights, radios and remote t.v. l The dining room is on the ground floor. l Booking forms completed by guests when making reservations have spaces for guests to specify any special requirements, diets etc. l Special diets are catered for with prior notice. l Assistance with luggage is always available. l Courtesy car service can be provided. l Within Mobile phone network range. l Arrangements can be made for assistance dogs. This statement has been drawn up in consultation with the Wales Tourist Board. Renovation & upgrading of all bathrooms/WC was carried out 2011 and includes facilities not previously available. We cope with mild disabilities but have no ground floor bedrooms.
