Techniquest Glyndwr is North Wales' most scientifically challenging all-weather day out!
TQG Science Discovery Centre in Wrexham is a family friendly day out with over 65 hands-on interactive exhibits, live science demos and fun workshops available to visitors all year round.
We have a live science theatre where, during school holidays, we host twice daily science shows based around a particular theme, such as space, inventions, robots or flight! Shows change throughout the year so there is always something new to see. During school term times the shows are available at weekends only. The show is included in the cost of admission. Places are limited, so during busy periods we advise you to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
In addition, we also offer occasional additional activities related to science and technology, such as our weekly Lego sessions on Saturdays where under 12’s can learn how to programme robots.
TQG Discovery Centre is located just off the A483/A541 junction at Plas Coch, Wrexham – follow the brown tourist signs from the A483. Or you can travel by train – we are less than 10 minutes’ walk from Wrexham General Station.
