Talwrn Glas is a recently completed comfortable 3 bedroom self-catering accommodation with views of the Clwydian Range, the Dee Estuary and beyond. The cottage is part of a traditional Welsh longhouse that dates from the 18th Century, with the Roberts family being the eighth generation.
Located in a peaceful setting, accessed by a farm track it provides the perfect retreat with opportunities to explore the nearby cities of Chester and Liverpool, as well as the market towns of Mold, Llangollen and Ruthin. An excellent base for walking, mountain biking, horse riding and fishing. A wealth of wildlife can be viewed in the fields around the house.
An open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area provides you with the maximum flexibility for your stay. The kitchen area is fully equipped with electric cooker, toaster, fridge with a freezer and a dishwasher. The dining area includes a dresser with a table and chairs. The living room overlooks rolling countryside towards the Wirral and Liverpool in the distance.
The large Master Bedroom has a king-size bed and is spacious enough to have easy chairs and a log burner. The second bedroom is fully furnished with a double bed. The third bedroom has a single bed. The bathroom is located on the ground floor and has a wash basin, WC and a shower over the bath.
If staying with a young family we would be pleased to provide a cot and high-chair on request.
