Penmachno is off the A5 (London to Holyhead Road), near Betws-y-Coed. From the north, take the M56, A55, A470, A5 and then B4406 into the village.

From the south, take the A5 to Llangollen, follow signs to Betws-y-Coed and take the B4406 into Penmachno.

Nearest station : 5 miles (8.0 kms) from Betws y Coed station
