Experience two of the area's speciality gardens Pen y Bryn, a 3 acre garden overlooking the picturesque town of Llangollen, featuring established trees, shrubs, walled garden and extensive lawns with herbaceous borders.

The Garden House - on the banks of the River Dee has many shrub and herbaceous plantings and a National Collection of Hydrangea. The house owned by the Wingett family have been dealing in paintings and works of fine art since 1910, and they can be viewed by appointment.

Visit Dibleys Nurseries and Garden, set in 8 acres of grounds in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd. Winners of 16 gold medals including the 2005 Chelsea Flower Show. Dibleys are the country's leading growers of Streptocarpus plants.

Call at Plas Newydd the former home of Lady Eleanor Butler and Sarah Ponsenby (the renowned Ladies of Llangollen) 1780 - 1829.
