A leading holiday park operator has unveiled its most expensive ever holiday home – a £399,000 unique retreat in North Wales.

Fast growing Darwin Escapes says the luxurious ‘Lookout’ – launched today - aims to meet the demands of an increasing number of people preferring to holiday in style in the UK.

The Lookout is perched on a beach side plot in Aberconwy Resort & Spa with panoramic views across the North Wales coast.

Darwin Escapes now operates 21 holiday parks throughout the UK offering a variety of holiday styles including secluded boutique lodge retreats, luxury lodge resorts with state-of-the-art leisure facilities and family-oriented traditional holiday parks.

Darwin Escapes’ head office is in Talacre, North Wales. The company aims to set new standards for the UK holiday park industry by creating brand new parks in stunning locations which provide holiday makers and holiday home owners with accommodation and facilities to rival 5 star hotels.

Clad in CanExel and ThermoWood and with split-level balconies and decked terraces, The Lookout has been designed to make the most of its spectacular views.

The lodge sleeps 6 and comes with a master bedroom with its own wet room and a large double walk-in shower and walk-in wardrobe. Across the hall is a second double bedroom.

Decorated by an interior designer from Prestige Homeseeker in a neutral tone, the inside with its elevated lounge area and adjoining balcony has a modern contemporary feel with its zesty lemons, soft browns, creams and greys and clever lighting.

It comes with all mod-cons including a fully-fitted kitchen with Bosch appliances and an integrated coffee machine, a five burner gas hob, eye level oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and dual washer/dryer.

Two sets of Bi-Fold doors allow the 990 sq. ft. property to be flooded with an abundance of natural light. Built to British Standard 3632, The Lookout is also protected by a 10 year warranty.

Samantha Lambert, Marketing Manager of Darwin Escapes, said: “Since the announcement of Brexit, we have seen an increase in the number of people looking to buy a holiday home in the UK.

“Our customers are looking for exceptional retreats to relax and unwind. We have built our iconic Lookout at our exclusive Aberconwy Resort & Spa to make the most of the incredible views of this part of the North Wales coast.

“The combination of craftsmanship and interior design means The Lookout provides every opportunity for holiday makers to stop and enjoy the perfect luxurious sanctuary for relaxation.”

Aberconwy Resort & Spa in Conwy has won awards for its dining. Its Signatures Restaurant was voted ‘best place to eat’ in the whole of Wales at the 2013 National Tourism Awards.

North Wales-headquartered Darwin Escapes is the fourth largest operator of holiday parks in the UK.
