North Wales Shire Horse Society at Bodelwyddan Castle
A lovely family friendly show. The North Wales Shire Horse Society works to promote and protect these magnificent heavy horses that due to the mechanisation of farming techniques are becoming a rare breed.
Come and have a go at working the horses yourselves.
A packed afternoon with working horse demonstrations, hot shoeing by the farrier, inhand showing, Carriage driving, parade of horse drawn vehicles, ridden shires.
Sheltands, Birds of Prey, alpaca`s, Ferrets, working huskie demonstration, Vintage tractors
Refreshments including: hog roast, cream tea`s and a beer tent. A variety of stalls and childrens activities.
