Notes
The Welsh Highland Railway is an exciting project to restore a long forgotten railway link between Caernarfon and Porthmadog, running through breathtaking scenery, including the famous Aberglaslyn Pass. The line currently runs between Caernarfon and Pont Croesor, just three miles from Porthmadog, a distance of 22 miles. Most groups do a one-way trip ? which can be done in either direction. Pre booked catering is available for groups from the kitchen car and there is a refreshment trolley for this two hour journey through Snowdonia. Trains run year round with a service operating late March to early November and Christmas week.
