Notes

  • The hotel is situated at the edge of the town centre, with parking available on the driveway close to the entrance.

The driveway is on a slope greater than 1:20, but has no kerbs or steps.

The entrance door is approached up a flight of seven stone steps with a handrail and is well lit at night.

The ground floor and upper floors are level throughout.

There are two upper floors where the bedrooms are located. No lift is available.

Each flight of stairs consists of sixteen steps, with a bannister rail on the right hand side.

Corridors are well lit. Radiators protrude in passageway on 1st floor.

All bedrooms have flatscreen remote control televisions with freeview and dvd player.

Brochures and menus can be provided in large print.

The building is completely unsuitable for persons who have to use a wheelchair, because all the bedrooms are located on the 1st & 2nd floor and there is no lift. Also there are steps to the front door, again with no lift. It would not be possible to add a ramp due to the height of the front door above the car park (7 steps) and slopping nature of the car park.
