The Town House is a renovated Victorian family run guest house, offering 5 beautifully decorated and well equipped rooms with views of the Castle and the Town Walls. Built in 1849 the stone built property is ideally located within the historic walled town of Conwy, and nestles neatly between the Castle and the 11th century St. Marys Church.s, The Town House is ideal location for visiting the attractions of Snowdonia and the Conwy valley, and indeed anywhere in North Wales.

Fully double glazed and with new very efficient central heating the premises has walls that are over two feet thick ensuring that guests are always assured of a warm welcome and a pleasant stay.

Graded 4 Star by Visit Wales and offerring private car parking for guests. All rooms are fully equipped and serviced daily by the owners, each room having wall mounted TV/DVDs as standard.

A varied and interesting breakfast menu is served using local produce and catering for all dietary needs, and includes Elaines famous breakfast sundae.

A wirefree internet connection is avaialble throughout the Guest House.

Prices from £45 for a standard single, to £70 for a double ensuite room for multiple night stays. There is an extra charge of £5 for one night stays.

The guest house has its own private car park and is graded 4 star by Visit Wales. We have received the Gold Award for a completely smoke free environment by Conwy Council Local Health Alliance.

We have been presented with the 'Gold Award' by Visit Wales for the Welcome Host Scheme.

  • THE TOWN HOUSE IS VICTORIAN AND ACCESSED DIRECTLY FROM THE PAVEMENT. THE THREE INCH STEP TO THE UN-LOCKED EXTERNAL DOOR, LEADING TO A FURTHER LOCKED INTERNAL DOOR WITH BELL TO LEFT SIDE, GIVING ACCESS TO A NARROW HALLWAY AND STEEP NARROW STAIRCASE, WHICH HAS A NINETY DEGREE TWIST AT THE TOP. HANDRAILS ARE FITTED AND THE STAIRS ARE ALWAYS ILLUMINATED. THE CARPARK IS ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF ROSEHILL STREET, A LEVEL 20 YARDS WALK FROM THE FRONT ENTRANCE DOOR.

    BREAKFAST ROOM IS ON THE GROUND FLOOR. BEDROOMS ARE TO THE FIRST AND SECOND FLOORS, 14 STEPS TO THE FIRST FLOOR AND 13 TO THE SECOND.THE FIRST FLOOR CONSISTS OF A STANDARD DOUBLE,AND TRIPLE ENSUITE ROOM AND A COMMUNAL BATHROOM. THE SECOND FLOOR HAS TWO DOUBLE ENSUITES AND A STANDARD SINGLE ROOM. THE SHOWER AND TOILET FACLIITES FOR ALL STANDARD ROOMS IS ON THE FIRST FLOOR. ALL ROOMS AND EN-SUITE FACILITIES ARE COMPACT, ACCESS TO THE STANDARD SIZED SHOWERS IS VIA A 10 INCH STEP TO SLIDING OR SWINGING DOORS. NO BATHS AVAILABLE.
