Pyg Path at Llanberis - Snowdon
This path, which starts at 1,170 ft. (359m.) is one of the most rugged and challenging routes up Snowdon. In winter, when there is snow and ice on the ground, it is a route best left to the experienced and properly equipped walker. 4 miles (8miles return).
The walk starts at the Pen y pass car park on the A4086 5 mile SE of Llanberis. If the car park at Pen-y-Pass is full, you can park your car in the free car park at Nant Peris, only three miles down the Llanberis road, and, during the season, catch a Sherpa bus back up to Pen-y-Pass to begin your walk.
Duration: 6 hours return (approx)
Miles: 8
