Llanrwst swimming pool is situated in the centre of town which is within 1/2 mile of the Caravan Park. The leisure centre is situated on the outskirts of town some 3/4 mile away. Betws-y-Coed Golf Club is 4 miles away. Children welcome from any age.

Bron Derw Caravan Site - Disability Access Statement

"Follow the A55 to junction 19 onto A470 for Betws-y Coed and Llanrwst. On entering Llanrwst turn left into Parry road (sign Llanddoged) at T-junction turn left. Then take first farm entrance on the right, signed Bron Derw. Continue along tarmac driveway and touring caravan park is on your left. Grid reference number SH 798622.

"There is an 18 ft wide entrance to the park and the road and hard standing pitches are of decorative slate.

"Each hard standing pitch is 38ft long and 20ft wide which enables customers to park their vehicles and have unobstructed access to caravan.

"All pitches are multi-serviced and have 16amp electric hook-up, water connection, grey-waste drainage and T V aerial hook-up.

"Lighting on the park are on dusk to dawn system and all internal lighting are linked to occupy sensor system. Disabled suite has it's own light switch.

"Within the central heated amenity block there is a disabled suite and includes shower, shower chair, toilet, hand basin, hand dryer, shavers point and a large mirror. Grab handles are in place through out the suite. An alarm system is operational.
"There is a disabled parking area by the amenity block and a concrete ramp to access disabled suite.

"There is a utility room with 2 stainless steel zincs and draining boards set in an 38 inches high worktop for dishwashing and vegetable preparation purposes. Entrance is through a 25-inch wide sliding door with a 2-inch high threshold. Coin operated washing machine also provided.

"The nearest shops are in Llanrwst, which is ½ mile from the park. Excellent public transport services available in town.

"Local taxi services are readily available with a list of useful telephone numbers on notice board.

"Mobile phone network is good on park.

"This is a family-run park with resident owners.
