Watkin Path at Llanberis - Snowdon
The watkin path is one of six walking routes to the summit of Mount Snowdon. The lower reaches of the footpath are suitable for small children, the final leg of the path up the summit is loose and steep and best avoided by all except experienced mountain walkers.
The path meanders gently up the Gwynant Valley, with the Llwedd Peaks to your left and the everest like summit of Snowdon. This path is one of the quieter routes to the summit of Snowdon.
The route starts at Pont Bethania car park 3km out of Beddgelert on the A498.
