Coasteering at Plas Menai National Watersports CentreCoasteering at Plas Menai National Watersports Centre

Plas Menai is the National Watersports Centre based on the banks of the Menai Strait. The centre offers courses in sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, cruising, powerboating and multi-activity. Courses range from beginner to advanced.

Plas Menai is open all year round. We run a wide range of watersports and adventure courses and also run a programme of youth adventure days every summer. Our accommodation is also available for booking year round and you do not have to be booked on to a course to stay at the centre.

Plas Menai can also be hired for conferences and corporate events.

Plas Menai is situated between Bangor and Caernarfon on the A487, 5 minutes from the A55 expressway (exit 10). The centre has ample free car parking and disabled car parking spaces.

Accessible by Public Transport : 6 miles (9.7 kms) from Bangor station

Plas Menai has excellent shore-side facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool, fitness suite, mountain bike track, bar, lounge, free wi-fi and internet access, dining room and twin bedded en-suite accommodation.
